Happy h'OM, Mo' Cumming Clean!

The last two weeks I have experienced more freedom and more open-minded acceptance than I could have expected. I learned many things and have a giant number of realizations and observations that I wanted to explore in more detail now that the madness is (almost) over!

I went to OM for the first time this year and had one of the best times Ive had at an outdoor festival/party in ages, and Ive been to many many many WEMFS and WMCs and HARVEST FESTIVALS and the last WOODSTOCK and I havent seen such a community spirit anywhere else than OM.

I met fantastic, magical, heartwarming people there; danced thru the forest barefooted in blazing sun, pouring rain and slides of mud.

The past two weeks have been very important to my desire to surround myself with those who are more inline with my own truths, so that I could be seen as who I really am by those who are WILLING to look at people from a perspective that flirts with an idea of freedom that comes from those who feel free in themselves first.  'As within so without' is not an unfamiliar term amongst the most of the people I have been associating with, or at least that has been my intention, and it really came together at OM because I met some awesome new friends that are a great new addition to my life right now.  Being around other artists, healers, magic people and free-spirited, open-minded people is very enriching to me right now, and the more I can do this, the better!

The spirit of OM (and life) really is giving & sharing with the community and leaving no trace.  I tried to give of myself as much as I could, not to mention I didn't have much money so it made it even more beautiful when I started to receive all the things that I wished for, most without even verbally asking.  If something was needed, it was provided and I tried really hard to provide for others as best I could, and I did a LOT of readings and used the tarot and my stones and really helped a lot of people with their questions and with insight on their path.  It felt really good.  It was pouring rain for a day and a half that everyone cursed at the time, but had it not been for the rain, we would have never got to meet some of the great people we did when we ran from the sacred fire to a nearby campsite of the guys me and Natasha were talking to at the time.

I feel really blessed to have met Yaco, Michael & Paul!  - People I feel like I could really be friends with for a long time, no doubt!

Michael really inspired me, and I havent met someone who has been as healing as he is just by being around.  His heart and energy vibrate so high that it's healing just for me to stand beside him; and I have never been as receptive to other's energy as I am currently- which is awesome- and he's got a heart of gold that is quite special to say the least...very powerful energy!

Yaco (rhymes with Taco) was another awesome individual as well, he had all kinds of instruments for people to play and jam out on just for the hell of it, he was so hospitable and really likeable.  Uniquely powerful as well - a comedy writer & poet & musician too!

Yaco

Paul was very charming and fun to be around as well, he reminds me so much of Alex, it was uncanny. Paul was very nice and his story telling abilities were top notch; he made me laugh a lot and he was very generous...we all had a great time together playing music (I did a xylophone set! lmao), doing tarot, chilling at the fire, mashin out in the tent o' tranquility.  And he gave Tash a dry wardrobe lol and he gave Shaunasie & Tash a lift back home cuz me and Mike were stuffed into the car with as much as we could cram in...literally!

Had an awesome time with Mr Greg Love jones (Love that name) chilling and talking away the rain in his tent doing some tarot, he also read to me from this anarchist mindtrap book; and wondering around
in the mud exploring was really fun too...

So many other wicked people there too-man. . . wow....and a lotta hippy jokes too!  The Acid Fairy had the best one!

"How many hippies does it take to change a lightbulb?
One, cuz we are all one"

Shaunasie got to cut people's hair there - Mike played guitar around the sacred fire, it was great, everyone really did their thing, there was great music, great vibes, the amount of work and effort and love people put into everything there was astronomical, and very much appreciated!

Havent got to hang out with Tash in a long time so that was really awesome, happened very spontaneously- but thats the way I like it!

I was there from Wednesday at about 10pm until Monday at around 1pm - gonna put some pics on facebook prob, although I didnt get very many :(

Saw a giant Woodpecker, a huge snake, a hairy creepy spider I didnt think lived (in my TENT?!!?) and joining hands in the om spiral with hundreds of others was fucking fantastic!  Got to dance at Home Bass & Moon Bass, Got to spend quality time with quality peeps and Im really thankful and happy to have done so.

It really helped me to shift my perspective more and more and meeting new people showed how I have changed in the past little bit because I have been able to attract more of what I want and less of what I dont want, and I can really see the difference now. . .

I got sooooooo dirty and muddy omg - the most ever.

I got back just in time to rest up for Toronto Pride 2009!!

(coming next). . .gotta reading to do.
